I’m supposed to be studying for my physics quiz, but I couldn’t care less right now. Let’s make a list.
- How did the weather get so disgustingly hot? Why can’t we ever have happy mediums? I either have to be freezing to death or dying to strip all my clothes off. And of course the A/C at our house is broken.
- Have you ever had those shopping days where nothing fits? I literally tried on about 50 tops yesterday and none of them worked. Usually I walk in and find stuff I love asap. My past two shopping trips have been huge fails.
- Doctor Who and I are just not going to be able to make it work. It really is one of those “it’s not you, it’s me” things this time. I mean, it’s a great show. I loved the first ep this season. But then I watched the second episode, and I guess it’s just too sci-fi, not enough “I think we’re meant for each other, let’s have sex right now”. I just can’t deal with unresolved sexual tension, and I understand that that’s just not what the show is about. Matt Smith however, you are perfection. High five!
- THE APPRENTICE, which I think is officially my favourite show ever – Bret won! I’m so proud of him. Also, shut the fuck up about it being “head vs. heart”, he deserved to win as much as Holly, he made it to the finals and clearly won the last challenge. They didn’t need to turn it into a sympathy vote, but WHATEVER, GO BRET <3
- More on Bret, he turned a cart and camera into a dolly cam okay? Hello. I want to pick up some Troparocka, but I’m guessing Canada doesn’t have any. Should I ebay it? More Apprentice in the spring and fall! Can’t wait.
- I’m thinking of repainting my room and I can’t decide. I want something more mature, but I also really love the pink. I’m so torn! But then, new colours wise, I think I’d want deep purple, which would be darker, depressing etc. I DON’T KNOW GUYS. I wish painting in real life was similar to photoshop painting, you know fill with the colour you want, it looks lame, just CTRL-Z.
- LOST ended this week and it seems half the planet was tuned in for the finale, but I was never a Lost fan. HOWEVER, I did want to know what it all meant in the end. If you’re in a similar boat, this video by nerimon/Alex Day was exactly what I needed.
1. I agree with you, this weather is killer. Especially based on the fact it was so busy at work yesterday that they decided to call me at 10:30 AM (woke me up) And asked to be there for 11 even though it takes me an hour to get there. But whatever, I’ll take the hours. As for you I don’t see why you are complaining as it increases your chances of spotting a shirtless guy so at leas you have a nice view going for you.
2. You seem to be VERY LUCKY when you shop. I do not like shopping, I much perfer going when I know someone is going to buy something. However, it is often I never find ANYTHING I like or when I do its not worth the price and of course there’s the clearance clothing in XXL that I excitedly grabbed without looking at the size =(.
4. I don’t think the Apprentice is the best show nor best reality TV show. However, I do think that it is going to get a lot better now that this celebrity nonsense is done with. Congratulations to Brett nonetheless because he did deserve it and I do applaud him.
6. I know pink is your favourite colour in the world. However, I would think purple would be a nice change and I am a fan of that colour in association to you so personally I say go for it.
7. I found the youtube video interesting but I agree with his conclusion to simply just watch LOST! However, the only good thing about the video was that it was narrated by someone British and that ALWAYS makes everything sound better. ALWAYS.
I guess all I can say is to keep cool or hot depending on how you want to interpret that =P
1. Aw, that sucks! At least it’s air conditioned there though right? Also, omg you are so right, but I have yet to spot ONE shirtless man!!!!!
2. Lately that’s exactly how shopping has been for me too, not fun at all! And LOL @ xxl haha. I think I’m going to start having my clothes custom made, best solution.
4. Okay, maybe not the best show, but you can’t really compare it to dramas/comedies, as far as reality shows go, I would say it’s def. the best. What would you say is the best reality show then? I would have said The Amazing Race before, but that really sucks now. I am SO happy for a non-celeb season, so that we can really get down to business lol, however, I also love the celeb version, so I’m glad we can have both!
6. Yes, I am feeling the purple too! And my coat, bag, sharpie and nails will match, win-win.
7. I am really considering watching it now… idk we’ll see. You are so right, British accent makes everything better!

Unless you’re just looking for a reason to paint, in which case there are cans of black paint waiting on my bedroom floor to be opened. I’ll get to it eventually. I can’t wait to see those magazines framed btw =)
