It’s been awhile since I’ve made a list or taken gratuitous pictures of my Mac, so let’s do that now.

1. I can’t kick my Coke habit, it just isn’t going to happen.
2. I’m reading HP again! If you stalk me on Twitter you probably knew that already. I’m on Order of the Phoenix, but I’m a little hesitant to keep going because OOTP is when shit really starts to get real and SIRIUS DIES. Poor guy. He spends years in prison for something he didn’t do, then he’s on the run/in hiding, and then he gets killed. Life sucks.
3. 24 & Dexter = borrowed DVDs for the summer (via Sharon and canadawhore). Here’s a fuck/marry/kill for you: Jack Bauer, Dexter, & okay never mind. I was going to say Tony Almeida, but I think I’m the only Tony fangirl around (p.s. please no spoilers, I will die).
4. Spectacular and maximum wallpaper by canadawhore. I’m going to start using maximum in my daily vocabulary by the way, credit goes to Jeremy Darling. Also, I guess this blog post is pretty much sponsored by canadawhore, might as well come out with it.
5. PHYSICS. I just need you guys to pray for me for the final.
6. Why screencap something when you can take a low resolution picture of it? I know right. Crap, that essay is due Monday. I have to watch the three movies listed and then do something with them, I don’t know. Anyway, I can’t wait to watch Minority Report. Tom Cruise is my favourite. KNIGHT & DAY WAS MAXIMUM.

OHHH, before I forget, some housekeeping stuff (housekeeping?) – I changed comments around, you can actually read them now, i.e. the text doesn’t shrink with each reply. Also, I’m forcing an avatar on everyone (minus gravatar commenters), just to make things fun and exciting! And of all avatars, Britney avatars! Fun right? Second, there’s now a tags page, where you can see ALL TAGS. I’m working on updating the watching page, because it’s so inaccurate right now, I mean, Eastwick and Ugly Betty have been cancelled for how long? Plus there are a million shows missing. Last thing, I updated the way archives/tags/search pages look.

I’m supposed to be studying for my physics quiz, but I couldn’t care less right now. Let’s make a list.

1. How did the weather get so disgustingly hot? Why can’t we ever have happy mediums? I either have to be freezing to death or dying to strip all my clothes off. And of course the A/C at our house is broken.
2. Have you ever had those shopping days where nothing fits? I literally tried on about 50 tops yesterday and none of them worked. Usually I walk in and find stuff I love asap. My past two shopping trips have been huge fails.
3. Doctor Who and I are just not going to be able to make it work. It really is one of those “it’s not you, it’s me” things this time. I mean, it’s a great show. I loved the first ep this season. But then I watched the second episode, and I guess it’s just too sci-fi, not enough “I think we’re meant for each other, let’s have sex right now”. I just can’t deal with unresolved sexual tension, and I understand that that’s just not what the show is about. Matt Smith however, you are perfection. High five!
4. THE APPRENTICE, which I think is officially my favourite show ever – Bret won! I’m so proud of him. Also, shut the fuck up about it being “head vs. heart”, he deserved to win as much as Holly, he made it to the finals and clearly won the last challenge. They didn’t need to turn it into a sympathy vote, but WHATEVER, GO BRET <3
5. More on Bret, he turned a cart and camera into a dolly cam okay? Hello. I want to pick up some Troparocka, but I’m guessing Canada doesn’t have any. Should I ebay it? More Apprentice in the spring and fall! Can’t wait.
6. I’m thinking of repainting my room and I can’t decide. I want something more mature, but I also really love the pink. I’m so torn! But then, new colours wise, I think I’d want deep purple, which would be darker, depressing etc. I DON’T KNOW GUYS. I wish painting in real life was similar to photoshop painting, you know fill with the colour you want, it looks lame, just CTRL-Z.
7. LOST ended this week and it seems half the planet was tuned in for the finale, but I was never a Lost fan. HOWEVER, I did want to know what it all meant in the end. If you’re in a similar boat, this video by nerimon/Alex Day was exactly what I needed.

OMG GUYS, I REALLY FUCKED UP TODAY. I have 5 exams left. FIVE. And a 30% assignment. Do you know what I did today?

1. Watched The Celebrity Apprentice.
2. Caught up on The Vampire Diaries. That was A LOT of episodes… (YES, I’M A FAN NOW. I love it. Don’t judge me.)
3. Watched Damages.
4. Watched United States of Tara.
5. Watched The Amazing Race.

SO much time wasted. And it’s not even today anymore, it’s tomorrow! Why does the next day start at midnight? It doesn’t make any sense. I say it should start at 12 noon. And we should be expected at work/school at 1/2pm. The world would be a better place, I guarantee it.

I also recently decided to ban fast food from my life… I knew this would be hard. I mean, McDonald’s is pretty much my favourite place in the whole world. It went well for a week and a half. Then the other day I broke down and got myself a Big Mac combo… and yesterday – Wendy’s.

It’s okay, it’s okay, I’m back on the wagon now! I think I can do it. If only I had a really hot male sponsor or something… a sponsor anyway. Is there an Eaters Anonymous I can join? No no, I’m not that bad. Except I am. It’s cool. I have this. I can do it.

Since we were talking about The Apprentice. I really love that show. CURTIS. And Sharon! She’s amazing, I hope she finally gets more airtime next week.

Another thing, ONTD recently told me that using a lot of exclamation marks and the term OMG loosely are both stupid indicators. OMG I NEED TO WORK ON THAT!!! Honestly though, I think we need a new word to replace OMG. It just doesn’t have the same effect anymore. What if something really does deserve an OMG? No one will take it seriously! The same can be said for LOL I guess. Now we all have to go around typing “LOL IRL”. These are serious issues. I don’t know why no one ever addresses them.

Next. Oh right, Damages. Leonard and Joe Tobin effectively broke my heart during this episode. You know Lenny, if you need a family, I will be more than willing to provide one. Screw the Tobins! Except for Joe. I will gladly adopt Joe as well. And Tom Shayes.

2. Oh sorry, I should explain where I’ve been… nowhere. Doing absolutely nothing. My life has become a series of procrastinated assignments. The amount of marks I’ve lost this term for handing things in late is embarrassing. I hate myself.
3. How are pictures of Zac Efron so inspiring? Even when you can’t see his face? He makes me want to actually get started on my two papers due  Monday! Okay… no, even The Zefron doesn’t have those powers.
4. You know what’s annoying? When the hot, impeccable, perfect guy you’ve been staring at all term in class decides to make out with his girlfriend in front of an elevator JUST as you’re getting on said elevator. I’m just saying, it totally ruins the fantasy.
5. I know what you’re thinking, that title is too long. Why couldn’t it have just fit in one line?! I hate character restrictions! Half my life is now spent trying to cram my pointless Twitter updates into 140 characters.
6. THIS is one of the single most awesome things I have ever been introduced to. Enjoy the sound of rain wherever you have an Internet connection! I’d like to say it helped me study. I’d like to.
7. The Libertines had/are having some form of a reunion! Dammit, seeing Pete and Carl together is priceless, adorable, what dreams are made of, etc.
8. It’s been almost a month that I’ve been off Grey’s Anatomy. I have to say, my life is definitely less miserable and pessimistic! I know I’m going to start having McSteamy/Dreamy/Army & Alex cravings soon though…
9. I’ve been thinking really hard about something lately… what if the men on Private Practice had Mc nicknames? WHAT WOULD THEY BE? Dell is easy, obviously he’d be McZefron. Okay, that’s where my creative powers died.
10. I really thoroughly enjoyed Phil on Modern Family this week. Oh and Gloria is still my idol.
11. Since we’re talking about TV – UGLY BETTY. Daniel and Betty! It has to happen! Please Ugly Betty gods, make it happen! None of this Henry Grubstick bullshit please. If that’s how this show ends, we’re going to have another Gilmore Girls on our hands and that already ruined my life. Cue dramatic sigh.
12. In other random news, I love Nicole Richie. Who wants to marathon The Simple Life with me? Anyone?

Here it is. Yet another post where I try to pass off an obscure lyric as a title and then follow with a list of random unrelated information. OK GO.

• My laptop’s CD drive has been an asshole for years (i.e. since I got it, and by asshole I mean it would randomly pop open during awkward silences and well, not work), so I thought I’d get it fixed since my insurance was about to run out. Best Buy was FAST. It’s been a couple of days and I have it back with the drive replaced. Five points for the Geek Squad or whatever.
• Speaking of my laptop, it got to the point where I had to wait ten minutes for it to start up, and another ten minutes for Chrome or Word to open, so I was going to do a system restore anyway. I thought, hey why not do the whole Windows 7 thing? So here I am. I know technically it’s not much different than Vista, but I love a change and it’s so much more aesthetically pleasing. Of course, I may be biased since a few days ago, it was moving at a crawl and Zac Efron wasn’t tiled across the background, but still.

• Yes, a screenshot is the only image I can produce right now. Whatever, it’s 4am and I feel like I haven’t slept in four months. AND I have a class at 9am. Why can’t classes start after lunch? Would it hurt, really? Who is actually able to process things that early?
• Remember a post ago I said I couldn’t wait for Wall Street 2? Well apparently, my blog is great at jinxing things. It’s being PUSHED BACK. BY FIVE MONTHS. WHAT?! I can’t talk about it. It’s too painful.
• But honestly, if I don’t get my yearly dose of Shia, I’m not going to make it you guys.
• This weekend’s going to be fun. I have two layouts to code, five hundred papers to get started on, and tons of procrastinating to do. When I finally get a vacation, I’m going to need to be rehabilitated for it.
